ORVX connects your commerce data — orders, product costs, operating expenses and ad spend — and tells you what actually makes money, what is quietly losing it, and what deserves your next pound of budget.
Most store owners can quote last month's sales instantly. Far fewer can tell you what was left after returns, production, operating costs and ads. That gap is where ecommerce businesses quietly lose money.
Returned and cancelled orders never become realized revenue in ORVX — they are excluded, not deducted afterwards. Illustrative figures; ORVX runs this on your own numbers.
ORVX recognises revenue on the close date — when the order is actually delivered — not the day it was placed.
A returned order never becomes realized revenue in the first place, so it cannot quietly inflate a good month. In categories like apparel that distinction alone can decide whether the month was profitable.
ORVX links campaigns to the products they sell, so profit is measured after advertising — not before it.
Your numbers already exist — they're just spread across tools that never talk to each other.
No integration project. Start entering your real numbers and the system does the maths.
Enter fabrics, manufacturing, logistics and other costs per production run, plus how many units you made.
Log orders with a close date and status. Delivered counts as revenue, returned is subtracted.
Log operating costs, then tag ad spend to a campaign, platform and the product it sells.
Real profit, margin, profit per product, ROAS and a recommended action — recalculated as you go.
Every metric on your overview answers a decision, not just a curiosity.
Product cost, operating expenses and ad spend are all subtracted before the number you see.
Margin is flagged against a 20% target so a "good month" on revenue can still show as a thin month on profit.
Every headline metric is measured against the previous period of the same length, so you see direction — not just position.
Understand whether growth came from more orders or bigger ones.
If it costs more to win a customer than the order earns, the dashboard says so.
Produced, defected, sold and remaining per product — so stock decisions follow profit.
ORVX calculates revenue, cost of goods and linked ad spend per product — then tells you what to do about it.
Same store, same month. Ranked by revenue, the hoodie wins. Ranked by profit after advertising, it earns less than half of a product getting no budget at all. That is the decision most dashboards can't show you.
Your ads manager reports the revenue it can attribute to itself. It doesn't know your production costs, your returns, or your margins. ORVX combines ad spend with real product economics and gives every campaign a decision.
| Campaign | Product | Platform | Spend | Revenue | ROAS | Net profit | Decision |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cargo · Retargeting | Cargo Pants | Meta | $6,300 | $72,500 | 3.89x | $37,681 | Scale |
| Hoodie · Prospecting | Oversized Hoodie | Meta | $45,760 | $82,650 | 1.81x | $26,008 | Optimize |

Tag spend to the product it sells. Revenue is apportioned across campaigns selling the same product.
Unallocated spend — budget not tied to any product — is surfaced as its own number so it can't hide.
Campaigns that are profitable and efficient are separated from ones that are merely busy.
The advisor reads the data already in your account — margin, ROAS, CAC, expense growth, refund rate, inventory and product mix — and turns it into specific, ranked actions.
Margin is below the 20% target for this period.
Action → Raise price or reduce unit cost on the lowest-margin SKUs.You are paying more to acquire a customer than the average order returns.
Action → Cut spend on the weakest campaign before adding budget anywhere.ROAS 3.77x with positive net profit after ad spend — ready to scale.
Action → Increase budget 20–30% weekly and protect inventory 2–4 weeks ahead.Spend that isn't attributed to a product can't be judged on profit.
Action → Link those campaigns so their true return becomes visible. These are real recommendation types the advisor produces — including trend alerts when profit drops, inventory warnings on strong performers, and stop/scale calls at both campaign and product level.

An executive read on the business — financial performance, product performance, ads and customers, over any date range.
Both plotted over your selected range so you can see whether growth is profitable growth.
Revenue, profit and orders measured against the previous period of equal length.
Ranked breakdowns that expose the gap between what sells and what earns.
Where the money actually went, with your biggest category surfaced.
Tracked alongside order count so you can tell volume growth from basket growth.
Segments, retention and top customers built from your order history.
A single executive pulse, scored from the operating metrics that decide whether a month was actually good. The dial below is an example.
Six operating dimensions are scored independently, then combined into a weighted average. Nothing is a pass/fail threshold: each dimension is scored on a range, so improving a weak area moves the score before it crosses any particular line.
A dimension that can't be measured yet — no ad spend in the period, no comparable previous period, no customer history — is left out rather than scored as zero, and the remaining weights carry the score. ORVX shows you which dimensions were measured, so a score is never a number without a reason behind it.
High return rates can erase a profitable month. ORVX counts only delivered orders as revenue, so returns never reach the top line.
See which SKUs deserve inventory and ad budget — and which are being carried by the rest of the catalogue.
Scale on profit rather than revenue, so growth doesn't quietly cost more than it earns.

Realized revenue (delivered orders only, recognised on the close date), cost of goods per item from your production runs, operating expenses, ad spend, net profit, profit margin, average order value, CAC, ROAS, profit per product, inventory remaining, and a business health score.
Yes. ORVX connects to Shopify and imports your products, variants, collections, orders, customers and refunds — one way only, so nothing ORVX does is ever written back to your store. Meta Ads connects the same way, bringing daily campaign spend into your expenses. You can also enter products, orders and expenses by hand, so ORVX works regardless of where you sell.
Revenue counts delivered orders and subtracts returned ones, using each order's close date rather than the date it was placed. From that, ORVX subtracts cost of goods — calculated per item from your production run, spreading total costs across good units after defects — then operating expenses and ad spend. What remains is net profit.
You log ad spend as an expense and tag it with a campaign name, platform and — importantly — the product it promotes. ORVX then apportions that product's revenue across the campaigns selling it, subtracts cost of goods and spend, and returns ROAS, net profit and a decision of Scale, Optimize, Stop or Test. Spend not linked to a product is reported separately as unallocated budget.
Only the data in your own account: margin, profit trend versus the previous period, ROAS, CAC against profit per order, expense growth, refund rate, inventory levels, product mix and campaign performance. It produces ranked recommendations with a specific action — for example scaling a profitable product, stopping a losing campaign, or flagging that CAC has passed profit per order. The AI Advisor is included on AI plans.
Yes — manual entry is the intended way to use it today. Add a product with its costs, log orders as they close, and record expenses. The dashboard, reports and product profitability update from there.
